This old wooden bridge has been a sturdy and functional structure for generations in this small Wabash River town in southeast Illinois.

It spans what was once railroad tracks and today, as it is used by local vehicles along with walkers and runners, the rumbling of the wooden planks can be heard for blocks and reminds us that, fortunately, some things don't change.
