Sophia's school -- JV Walsham Elementary -- conducted its annual Fun Run fundraiser. The kids solicited pledges for each lap they ran -- up to 35 total. It was 35 degrees at 8 a.m. when the race started but there was no shortage of energy among the 150 six-year-olds. After each lap the kids had to stop and have their teacher "mark off" the lap on the back of their t-shirt. The program generated $40,000 for school programs and projects. Also, couple pics of Karen from our slippery hike to Upper Creek Falls in Piscah National Forest last weekend.
