The first major snowfall of the year created a great atmosphere for the annual Middleburg Christmas Parade. Sophie got a surprise when Santa rode by and pointed right at her then yelled "and Merry Christmas to YOU". There is a photo of Santa pointing at her near the end of this gallery. After the parade it was home to warm up before heading out again to build a snowman in the back yard . . . and it all ended with a warm fire. A good day.
