--------------------------------------------------------
To assist the reunion committee with the choice of venue, it was suggested to do a survey of the classmates for their opinion.
The survey on the website below is volunteered and hosted through my GDrive account.

https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScFyXMqCTGDC48itTQg0IJMFFmCWKQYcFKPLxKwMnv4m2KbTQ/viewform?vc=0&c=0&w=1

Note that this survey will be done anonymously and we won't know who will be taking part in the survey.
As such it's been requested that you take part in the survey only once to ensure it is as accurate as possible.
At the same time we would like as many as possible take part in the survey to ensure it represents the opinion of the majority.
Also, if you do have a change of heart/mind, it's OK to do the survey again but please do indicate that it is a change and from what.
Remember, the majority opinion will likely determine the choice of venue for the reunion committee.
So also remember, as they say in Hawaii, ' No vote... No grumble '. Mahalo !

( update: as of this date, 44 have responded to the survey request... Mahalo ! )

Have been super busy since the last email blog, plus have had little input from classmates since.
Thus the nearly month and half gap, but Mahalo for the inquiry and concern Irene.

Besides Tremaine and Myron, there were several others who have changed their email addresses which I wasn't aware of.
Apologies if I missed those and haven't been passing on the blog.
Do let me know of changes including anyone else you may know of.
Mahalo to those who have !

I keep forgetting that sometimes the notices get lost in all that's posted in these blogs.
Will try to highlight in some way the ones that are likely the more important for all.
Have done so for the reunion info above, thanks for making me aware Shinty.

LOL ! Maybe that's why I remember Ms Ellis/Au, because she was 'so hot' Arline ?
Thanks for the Chinese NY greetings although this year has not been the most auspicious thus far.
Hopefully time will have us seeing things improving.

Don't forget the KHS Foundation fundraising dinner coming up on March 21st, just 3 weeks from now.
The class of '60 has been well represented over the past few years, much the same as the class of '61.
There are usually 2 dozen or more enjoying the dinner for each of those classes.

The reunion committee will be meeting sometime next week.
I'll drop in to listen in and report the latest in the next blog

There are quite a few of us who are, know schoolmates, or have spouses who were part of the KHS '61 class.
So a heads-up on their upcoming reunion:
KHS '61 77th birthday reunion 6/6/2020, brunch at Pearl Country Club.

Take care everyone, especially during these trying times with health concerns.

Aloha,
Hal

Kung Hee Fat Choy to you and all. Be safe, healthy and prosperous throughout this the beginning of a new decade.
Yes I do remember Mrs. Wanda Au. I was in her speech class when she was Miss Ellis and I remember all the guys thought she was sooo “hot”.
I later encountered her again when I worked at Bank of Hawaii in Kahala she had already gotten married and was working in partnership with her husband.
She was still quite proper and good looking.
