Polaroid SX-70

This is work I have done over the last few years using SX-70 time zero film. Images are scanned with a 4870 Epson Photo Scanner and some are corrected a bit in PhotoShop, but the main manipulation occurs directly on the film. See other Polaroid processes here https://pbase.com/halesr/polaroid

Great work.

You had stopped by the SX-70 gallery asking about the phasing out of Time Zero film. Polaroid has something up on their web site saying it was going to be discontinued earlier this year....http://www.polaroid.com/sx70/en/index.html

If you have not stockpiled a bunch you should probably get your hands on some while you can.

What an amazing gallery. I adore the effects and information. But, "manipulation occurs directly on the film"? Very mysterious. The effects are beautifully suited to the subjects. Altogether surreal and impressionistic. I shall be back.
