annotated cookbook

We annotated a cookbook for a friend's wedding. We added notations, hopefully humorous, and best wishes for a wonderful future.
I had been wanting to try something creative tonight. I read about what I wanted to do.
Then we had storms and I kept having to turn off the computer.
I ran out of steam so I processed this image from the other night at Le Bouchon.
Sorry "John down under", there is the out of place glass of water creeping into the picture.

That is a sight, everything is full!

I like the one dominate glass created by the wider angle lens. She must be in some natural light, you can see the yellow from the tungston incandescent light, but she has quite the rosey complextion.

No flash. It was handheld with available light. Le Bouchon is in beautiful downtown Lexington, KY right on Lime Street. It is a wine bar, but you can order food from the really great French restaurant, Le Deauville, right next door and owned by the same folks. There are also tables on the sidewalk. It is a lovely spot for wine and food.

Did you use a fill flash? This is really very nice, and I like the bartender in the background holding a bottle of wine.

Is this Bouchon in Yountville?

I like the feeling of sitting at the table with your dinner partner....very intimate atmosphere you've created.

And who is the young lady? Love the natural light. I'm quite the fan of natural light photography.

I'm sure the annotation was helped along by the many glasses of wine.
