this view of the sunflower, is often ignored.. the beauty is hidden by a golden color that fades after forgotten summers.....great capture..

I like this, it becomes a bit abstract without the color,
it's unique and clever,
the color version, is obvious upside down sunflower,

Looking at some of the other comments, I am going against the mainstream on this one, but I like this one the best. In the one you can actually see the fine detail of the flower and the curves and structures as they interact with each other. For me both the color and the processing get in the way of the true beauty of this image which is in the soft skirt of petals with their now visible veins. The almost living creature like sepals; they kind of remind me of sea creatures. While the processed image is nice and the colored original is, in my opinion, even better; I would have missed much of the interest and beauty of this flower without having seen the B&W version.
