though it is made to portray your biggest fears-or perhaps because of it- it is a strong and captivating image. I think this is huge Rene!
And normally talking or facing ones fear diminishes it, perhaps making this image is the start of coming to terms with it. We all have fear of suffocating-it's a primal fear I think it"s buried in our reptilian brain :)
This image grew out of an assignment up at the ME Photo Workshops. We had to shoot what we were afriad of. I am totally afraid of suffocation and fire. So this is a self-portrait. My sister hates this image. This version has the flowers overlaid and the toning added. I am not afraid of the image, but still am scared of suffocation.--Rene
