New York Ordovician

The persistent exploration efforts of Markus Martin revealed new localities for "Beecher-style" soft body preservation in the Upper Ordovician (Katian Stage Lorraine Group) of New York.
His skill in preparation using air-abrasive techniques resulted in spectacular specimens revealing fine details of antennae and limbs in trilobites.
Associated with the trilobites were ostracods, sponges, orthocones, brachiopods, bryozoa, molluscs and graptolites.
