Detail of Ancylite-(Ce) crystals

These nicely show the rounded aggregate forms leading to the name, from the Greek αγκυλός ("ankylos") for "curved", in allusion to the typically rounded crystal shapes at the type locality. The "-(Ce)" suffix due to cerium being the dominant REE in the composition.
