Sravanabelgola
Sravanabelgola is sacred Jain site. Pilgrims (and tourists) climb the 650 steps up this hill, barefoot, to see the colossal monolithic sculpture of Gommateshvara (Bahubali). I hope to tell you, those steps were HOT! Fortunately, socks were allowed.
