We were invited to participate in a traditional welcoming ceremony in Mr. Singh's home. The Bishnoi regularly offer an opium drink as a token of hospitality. The opium is kept in a solid form cooked in milk and sugar. Pieces of opium are crushed in a mortar then mixed with mineral water and filtered before drinking. Interesting custom.
