These are all shot around the Virginia Tech area near Blacksburg, Va. I wish I was better at finding them since I enjoy photographing all wildlife, but I think I am too focused on birds most of the time.
The Canon 100-400 lens I have is great for snakes and turtles which are on the larger side and sometimes hard to get close to, but as for smaller reptiles you definately would probably be interested in a macro lens like the Canon 100 2.8, or the Sigma 105 2.8. You may want even more room to work with in a sigma/canon ~150 range of macro lens.
Good luck with the photos and website!

I love reptiles. Grew up catching them etc in S.A. Where were these taken? I have load of wildlife pics on morguefile and am in the process of setting up a website for it. I really enjoy wildlife photography and go on a few safari's, I just want a good quality lens with a good zoom, to let me get those close-ups.
