I lived in the Maldives for two years....no shoes, no cars, no discos or shopping...nothing much. I hope this gallery gives you a little feel for what it's like to have the world end at the horizon with very few islands in site. It has its perks...but it's not quite the happy paradise for two years that it is for two weeks. That said...it's still gorgeous!
