We got special permission to visit this site, which is renowned for its number of soft-bodied fossils. The unusual thing about that is that most fossils are of hard-bodied creatures like trilobites , but for reasons I can't remember, many soft-bodied imprints were preserved in the rock. It was a very long hike that day. I didn't carry my camera along so the only photo I got was at the trail head.
