We spent several days here, and it was one of my favorite places. The temp was at least 120 but we don't know what it actually was, because 120 was the thermometer limit. In 1988, Death Valley wasn't a national park yet, and I understand now there is a boardwalk and you can't go out on the salt flats like we did then.
