Yellowstone

Yellowstone National Park

We had permission to hike back into Octopus springs to look at microbial life forms. The students measured water temperature and pH in various places. There were a lot of bees around. I later realized that might be because I'd spilled a little hummingbird nectar on my shoes when filling the feeders a few days before back home!
