OMAHA BEACH: to remember the landing on 06/06/1944

I took this picture in the dunes on the beach of Colleville-sur-Mer. We made a hike on the beach thinking of all those things that happened there so many years ago. When we came back this couple wanted to leave too, but the old man was not able to get up any more. So I helped him. His hand was very strong and I saw all the emotions in his eyes. I never forget this.
