Walter doing homework in Washington, DC. We live here only six months when Mom and Dad were assigned to the "Men's Social". Walter would walk across the Capitol grounds on his way to Jefferson Junior High School. It was a great place for David and Walter. They got to read mountains of comic books (donated), play pool (with the beneficiaries) and eat meals in the dining room (Mom didn't have to cook).
