Sydney- A wild and wonderful city. My son and I took a day trip around Sydney on our own. Wow, what a day. Of course we checked out all of the usual tourist sights, and some not so usual. We loved the Rocks, the Opera House and Circular Quay. The AMP tower was outstanding. What a view. We had one of those bus passes that lets you get off and back on the next bus as many times as you wish. On one of our get-offs in Kings Cross we decided to get a Big Mac at McDonalds. That was an adventure. We had heard lots of wild stories about Kings Cross. A wild place. So I don’t know just what we expected. However we got a great show. While sitting outside Mickey-Dees eating our burger, we saw two drug deals go down without any attempt to hide what was going on. Also a pimp was getting money from his girls and ended up slapping one of them when didn’t come up with the dough. What a show. The rest of Kings Cross was beautiful and peaceful. We love all of Sydney, but we liked Kings Cross the best.
