40 of us began our trip on Saturday 16th March 2002 from Orange NSW Australia, headed for the Ulysses AGM which was being held at Mt Gambier in South Australia. Our route took us through Deniliquin, Echuca, Ballarat, Geelong, across the Great Ocean Road to Skenes Creek, Warrnambool and onto Mt Gambier for 3 days and then home via Bendigo, Shepparton, Harrietville, Wagga Wagga and back to Orange on Thursday 28th. All up we only travelled 3,100 klms, but had lots of time to enjoy the sights along the way.
