16 Jan 2007, a day Melbourne almost came to a standstill, due to a bushfire that knocked out about half of Melbournes power supplies on a 40 degree day. Whole suburbs were blacked out, traffic signals failed, railway signals failed, and the trains air conditioners failed in the heat. My Epping train is exactly one hour late at Bell. Funny thing was that trains still ran to sequence despite being 1 hour late.
