During the early 90s, a certain Driver at Ashburton would decorate the local Ashy Dasher with Xmas decorations on both ends of the train and in the saloon area, which would then run over the Xmas/Boxing Day period, back in the days when there was still a bit of pride left in the industry. Here the freshly decorated "Merry Xmas" train sits at Camberwell before another dash to Alamein.
