Chrystal Bar was my regular. Kima is a hard working little firework, single mother and business woman. 43 kilos of muscle and bones. Great heart and sharp brain. We really had our moments! I miss Elephant House as well, a decent place, you could even bring your wife without any trouble, still, Sue and Young-Ah knew how to threat a man. And Seven, the girls Son-Ah and Susie really twisted my head, only that I was already busy. I cut apart 3 credit in one year and I spend one year downpaying....

My two favourite were Monkeys and the Old Flamingos (which I named i might add !!!. Its now Mayas but you can still see the Flamingo's sign at the side). It was owned by my very good friend Steve Kiggins who was a legend in Okpo and who sadly passed away a few years ago now. He was like my big bro and is sadly missed and often in my thoughts. I also worked with Gunnar on the Magnolia, so thankyou for this site mate. It brings back a lot of happy memories.

Hi! Colin here - I spent a lot of time in a lot of these bars 2005/2006 whilst working on the Sakhalin Project in Samsung's yard and spent fortune! Favourites...Coco's (Sun has just sold it!), Monkey Business and Aibabar (Stell on draught...well that's what they say it is!). Great times....... :)

omg lyke awsoem! i was in okpo and i saw the most of them. my favourite was the cocos but most of them were deserted most of the time
