Helmet or no helmet, motorcycles can be deadly unless you are extra careful. If you have friends or family members who drives a motorcycle, tell them about this and to drive defensively as they have no chance against a vehicle!

This is really gore, I was used to ride a motorbike in France. I now gave up as I live in Singapore. Singaporean really drive cars very bad and are not respectfull to motorbikes. You need to be very couragous to make such kind of photographs.

People who ride motorcycles have short lives. That's the rule. I had a motorcycle that I rented in Bangkok to explore Thailand in 1979. Passed a similar hamburger mess of what was a young couple moments earlier. They were smashed by a similar looking lorry that are speeding around everywhere on those small roads. It affected me severely ... gingerly nursed my motorcycle back to Bangkok as safely as I could and haven't been on once since. We can have some degree of control in our lives over calculated risks vs foolish risks. Motorcycles are a foolish risk. Been there, done that.

oh yeah!my daughter occasionally rides. my brother is an owner/rider. i am anurse. i get to take care of the left over parts. god bless the family of this person in this photo! ps. i really love it when vehicles drive right up on the back of a biker and try to push them off the road--or seeing bikers on the other hand -weave in and out of traffic. scarey--too scarey.thanks for showing this
