these images should have been dumped and destroyed.
Thy were given to me by the grand grand son of a man called Eugène Carlos Désiré Ducoin, born 1846 he was a baker in the town of Lille, North of France. He ws also a passionate painter and and passionate photographer. To prepare his paintings, he used to take pictures of models, most of them are unknown, the final purpose is also unknown. MR. Ducoin hasn't left any written story of his photographic or artistic works. I have started to gather as many informations about him, his life and his work in order to figure out the period, the reasons and the intentions of those fascinating images. He died in 1917.
