Santa Cruz Clinic

The Santa Cruz Clinic on the shores of Lake Amatitlan. Dr. Elry treats patients unable to find health care at steeply discounted rates. The most common diagnoses in the clinic is high blood pressure and diabetes (Guatemalans have only recently had refined sugar introduced into their diet). The clinic ministry also has 45 children in their ministry program each week. They provide help with homework, have Bible lessons, teach music and art (which is not offered in public schools), and provide nutritional snacks to the children.
