I was privileged to attend a Feast on Christmas Eve in Rankin Inlet.
Here an Inuit woman is preparing some frozen narwhale with her ulu (knife).
The meat is simply allowed to thaw, and then eaten.
Thanks for the correction Silu. There was a huge variety of meat prepared
by the Inuit people that evening - so much, that it was very confusing to
a "southerner" like me! Ron
