What a pleasure it was to travel with you to NE Mexico and watch you execute your wonderful talents as a photographer. I am enjoying your website tremendously. Thank you.

Hi Glen, I believe we met you when viewing the Little Egret at Bombay Hook yesterday (8/31/21). Thanks for your help and the enjoyable conversation. Hope to see you again!

YOUR NOV. 11,2004 CANVASBACK FEMALE IS JUST THE RIGHT PHOTO, TO LOOK AT AS I CARVE MY WOODEN DECOY. I AM A RETIRED SHOP TEACHER AND MY HOBBY IS CARVING AND PAINTING. WITH YOUR PERMISSION I WOULD LIKE TO VIEW YOUR WORK. THIS VIEW IS PERFECT DUE TO THE TURNING OF THE HEN'S HEAD. I STILL WORK IN THE LOCAL SCHOOL WITH SPECIAL NEEDS STUDENT'S AND THEY ENJOY WORKING IN WOOD AND DRAWING ALL BIRDS.

Glen,
I was given your website by my friend and former co-worker at WBU in Pleasant Hill, Alice Holmes, a longtime member of Mt. Diablo Audubon. May I have permission to use 12 of your bird photos. I need just the images in order to designate groups at a women's conference at Asilomar in September. Our theme is Soaring and your beautiful photos would be perfect.
Thank you for considering my request.

Glen,
I am compiling a guide of common winter birds for Chacala, Nayarit, Mex. It will not be sold commercially, but will be distributed to the school and a few local posadas. There are a few photos that I am unable to find with open copy-rights. You seem to have the photos that I need. May I obtain permission to use some of your work? So far I need the Golden-cheeked Woodpecker, and Ivory-billed Woodcreeper, but I'm sure there will be others. I would appreciate your consideration. Zan

Glen.
I would like permission to use your photo to illustrate a blog about Black Swifts (the one of the birds flying in front of the waterfall as seen on the RMBO blog).
My website is www.rick-simpson.com
I am a bird guide currently living in Brazil.
Cheers.

Hello, I'd love to post your photo of the Raven in flight on my website, www.silverhawkstudio.com as a visual. We hand carve tiny feathers from bone and paint them to look like real feathers from specific birds then assemble them into jewelry. We have been in business 25 years. Please let me know if it is okay with you. I will give acknowledgment as well as any link to you you'd like. Thanks for your consideration.

Glen, excellent, excellent shots. All are well composed and really come to life! I didn't know it was possible to find Band-Tailed Pigeons in such numbers in Oakland. I will have to search more next time I'm up there. Looks like we've shot at some of the same locations. Nice work again.

Hi Glen. I am involved in a eastern marshland project with the Guild of Natural Science Illustrators in Ithaca. We will be exhibiting our works next year at the Cornell Lab of Ornithology. I was wondering if I could use your snow goose in flight as the basis of my painting....it's gorgeous!! thank you .shirley hogg

good afternoon. I am a real rookie at this sort of thing so I will just ask my question. I am going to carve a Wood Thrush and I am having trouble finding reference photos. Yours are excellent. My question is this: how do I go about getting permission to use them. Thanks

Hi Glenn and Carol,

How are you two doing!? Long time no see! I see you live in California now. Fed up with the cold? Here in Holland everything is fine. Two more years to go for my PhD. Maybe I'll be doing a post-doc in California, so we can do some birding again! Still birding a lot and doing a lot of photography. My last trip was to Kenya. There are some nice pictures on my friends website www.luchters.nl.

All the best,

Martijn Verdoes

Glen,
I'm very impressive of your different galleries, Especially of Wilson petrel. Where did you took this photos? Personnaly, i stayed 1 year in antarctica (see my 2 galleries), and that was the most difficult bird to photograph (small bird and allways in movement).
Congratulation for this beautifull shots.

Glen,

I found your photos of the Costa's hummingbird. On January 1st, 2006, an imature male was banded in Montgomery, Alabama, the first record in the east. I have put a link to your site so that others can see what he will look like when he grows up.

Those are great digiscopes, Glen! I used to do it, and have a few of my old ones up on my site in a separate gallery, but never close to that quality -- yours will now be a site I send people to for showing what can be done with digiscoping.
Ken Owen16-Nov-2005 15:55
It takes a lot of time out to get that many quality shots. Great work.

Hi Glen,

As you know I have seen and admired your pics on Birds-pix and Birdforums, but this time I surfed over from Mangoverde - I'm particularly interested in the Panama gallery, as a group of us are going there in March ( a week at Canopy Tower and a week on the coast). As usual, wonderful shots!

Cheers,

Love the way you composed your gallery and am impressed with the 100-400 is lens. I know this lens loves light. but you achieved some of the best images in low or lack of light settings (overcast) Way to go. I love my 10D too.
