Highlights of our second trip to Costa Rica in August 2015 (our first trip in 1998 was before I got into photography). We did most of our birding around the lodges where we stayed:

- Hotel Bougainvillea near San José
- Rancho Naturalista on the Caribbean slope of the Cordillera Talamanca
- Savegre Lodge on the Pacific side of the Cordillera Talamanca
- Copa de Arbol on the Osa Peninsula on the Pacific coast.

We also made several birding pit stops while traveling between the lodges, including brief visits to Tapantí, Los Quetzales, Corcovado and Carara National Parks. This gallery is under construction with many more species to be added.
