Tour de Beauce 2011: Old Québec Stage

For this 26th edition, the Old-Québec stage of the Tour de Beauce was held on Saturday june 18th 2011 in the streets of the old part of Québec city. The race consisted of loops of 13.9 km ran 9 times for a total distance of 125.1 km. The race was marked by the well-known and steep Côte-de-la-Montagne hill which is a must for a bicycle race in Québec city. This year’s stage winner was American rider Rob Rush from Team Chipotle in a time of 2hr 56min 45sec (42.4 km/h). Québec city native David Boily (Spider Tech) and Australian Bernard Sulzberger (Fly V Australia) finished respectively second and third.
