BNSF 8874 charges through the trees along the Platte River south of Sterling, CO. This section of track is actually owned by the Union Pacific, and was once part of the UP Julesburg Cutoff mainline. UP, in their infinite wisdom, decided to tear up the rest of the line from Kersey, CO to Union, CO.
