I decided to do something different this year for the annual "A Day In North America" event. Overcast skies were forcast for the big day, so I shot from midnight until dawn on June 1st. All shots were taken using a Canon EOS D30, and a flash array consisting of 8 GN92 flashes. Enjoy the photos here since the magazine sponsoring the event refuses to acknowledge the 21st Century and accepts only film slides and B&W prints.
After seeing your thoughts on RailRoadForums.com I thought I'd drop in to your webpage. Man, it's photos like yours that keep me slogging out to trackside to try to do better than I did before. These are great inspirations! And I haven't time to look at them all! (dial-up connection!) And keep trying; Dale Sanders will have to accept digital eventually! ('Course, I'm an old fashioned slide shooter myself!) Thanks for sharing your photos with the world.
