BNSF Brush Subdivision

The BNSF Brush Subdivision runs from Sterling, CO to Denver, CO. The Brush Sub typically sees 25 to 30 trains a day. Most of the traffic consists of loaded and empty coal trains shuttling between the Powder River Basin of Wyoming and the power plants of Texas. There's also a couple of Z trains each direction, a unit sulphur train from Wyoming that runs several times a week, plus misc. grain trains and locals.

The scenery isn't abundant on the high plains of Colorado, but if you look close enough and use big enough of a telephonto lens, it's still possible to capture some nice images.
