Hi, my name is Stephanie Shumaker my grandmother grew up around this area and often speaks of this bridge. She is 84 years old and has told me many stories about the time she spent as a young girl sitting in the window day dreaming about what kind of life she would lead. Needless to say it is very special to her. I would love to buy a copy of a couple of these shots if you would be willing to sell them. Please contact me as soon as possible

Hi, I am David West grandson of Ada Rinard. She grew up on the Rinard farm. When I was a kid in the 60,s we spent many a night camping from my dads 63 chevy station wagon at the Rinard bridge. I am sorry to hear about the flood but do appreciate the pictures you have posted. I also have many pictures of this bridge with my family.

Greg, I was devasted to see the destruction of the Rinard Bridge and Just now learned of it. Thanks for your pictures. I had photographed them in 2003 on a family drive and had enlarged them so that they could be further enjoyed. Do you know whether or not the trusses have been found yet? Bill Unger
