After my trip to Borrego Springs, I also visited Joshua Tree National Park. Unfortunately, the second day there saw a significant rainfall, unusual for this area that gets 7 or 8 inches of rain per year and also coincided with the day that things seemed to really take a turn on the corona virus front. At that I decided I wanted to get home as soon as possible, so I only shot Wednesday evening, and Thursday morning and evening, both under a fairly cloudy sky.
