Pictures taken at Bosque del Apache National Wild Life Refuge, just south of Socorro, New Mexico. I was there from the afternoon of January 27, 2011 until mid morning, January 30th. The weather was beautiful, with temps between about 15 and 65, almost no clouds in the sky, and almost no wind. The bird population was good this year though the geese seemed to be a little more spread out and fewer stayed on the refuge during the day. The three ponds along the highway north of the main section of the refuge had most of the activity.
