November, 2007 - Talk about a photographer's dream! Page and its surrounding area has enough desert southwest subject matter to keep a photographer busy for months. Unfortunately, my first visit to this area was only for two days so I stuck to shooting the well known, iconic locations. Thanks to Adam, Scott, Mike and Dave (my photog buds from MN) for allowing me to join them on their great adventure. A return visit to dive deeper into the lesser known locations is definitely in order!

April, 2008 - Tami and I spent four more days in the area. With 70 degree temps its hard to think of a better time to visit. We spent time at both Antelope slot canyons, Alstrom Point, Horseshoe Bend, and various locations within the Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument northwest of town. I'm adding new images from this trip at the top of the gallery.

This is an amazing gallery, you have captured the beauty of nature so well, that sometime we do not observe thru naked eyes (ie long exposure). Love the unique pattern and texture you have captured, so beautifully!
