This section of northeast Minnesota is, without question, the most scenic region of the state. Rugged terrain, cascading waterfalls, and the icy blue of Lake Superior all come together to make this a "must see" destination. Seven state parks can be found on or near the approximately 150 miles of shoreline between Duluth and the Canadian border. I've visited this area countless times, but only in the past few years have I begun to explore its photographic virtues. This gallery is my tribute to its many scenic wonders.
