Bryce Canyon and Capitol Reef National Parks - Winter '08

Took a quick trip westward to photograph Bryce Canyon in all its glory - under a blanket of snow. The cold and snowy winter of 2008 has made this a great year to visit this park. That is, if an endless sea of glowing red/orange hoodoos covered with a healthy dose of white frosting appeals to you!

On the way back home I stopped off at Capitol Reef National Park for a quick evening/morning exploration. While this really isn't the best time to visit the park (in my opinion), I saw enough to know that a return visit is definitely warranted this spring.

Wonderful gallery Guy! The hoodoos are evening more spectacular with the icing on top. My favorite of the bunch is 'Hoodoo Abstract'. Vote.
