Springtime Around Moab

I've begun an annual tradition of visiting the Moab, Utah area every spring in search of wildflower blooms to compliment its renowned red rock scenery. So far, this tradition has spanned only two years (2007 and 2008). My success at finding the colorful wildflower displays has been spotty at best. A few stands here and there, but nothing to knock your socks off. Nevertheless, the Moab vicinity is so beautiful that it doesn't really matter. With Arches NP, Canyonlands NP, the La Sal mountains and a host of lesser known areas at its doorstep there is plenty to explore and photograph. I'll continue to add newer images at the top as I get them processed.

Awesome job out west my friend! They're all just fantastic but my favorites are the Fisher Towers (I have always lusted after that very shot and you just nailed it!) and the snowy La Sals behind Turret Arch. There are some amazing places too up in those mountains especially in the fall. We should talk. Just got back from a workshop in Havasupai. Thought of you guys. Best to Tami, DvB . . .
