A tragic fire, a new alcohol treatment center was under construction, the fire destroyed it. the cause was never determined. as i stared at the picture i found myself wondering .... and as i opened it in photoshop, i started to manipulate it and it really wasn't hard to bring him out.... my thought was he wanted to keep the souls the building would help save....

Days later, my son and i were talking and he mentioned how he was tired of people looking for the Devil in the smoke. i felt goosebumps as i recalled what I had done with this picture... so i showed him.

I have been reluctant to share this one, because some folks my not realize it is a manipulated photo.

and really that is what it is...
