First Posted Picture from the 40D. . .

Over on dpreview, everyone seems to be posting cat photos with their 40D, I already had a cat, decided to get a 40D...

This is the jpg from the camera.

I used my Speedlight 420EX pointed up for this.

I did two things during PP:
1) Clone-stamped out the flash from her eyes
2) Resized the photo to 1200 x somthing

Everything else was done in the camera, I didn't even touch the raw.

I am hand-holding this at 1/30, this is the 100mm f/2.8, it is not a small lens, there is no IS.

I am liking the larger size of the 40D over the XT. At first I thought it would be bulkier, but it is just easier to hold/stabilize.

There is NO WAY I could get this photo on my XT, I cannot handhold below 1/100!

(Yes, I know this photo isn't super sharp, I really liked her care-free look when she rolled over)
