I close out this month with an experiment. I went outside and looked for a boring photo (with decent lighting). I wanted to play with some kind of blur/lighting effect. After going the Vignetting route, I scrapped it (I couldn't get rid of the demarkation between focus and blur).
I stumbled upon the lighting filter and it had the effect I liked, coupled with my funky blurring (inverse select the subject then blur the rest of the photo slightly), I had the look I was going for.

It is not quite BW, I left some red tint in there. . .
