We got all packed up for camping tomorrow, I took my shower (the humidity was at something like 150%), came downstairs, and noticed this red lighting outside. It was simply incredible, it was lightly raining, I could hear thunder in the distance, I grabbed the camera and tried my best to capture the lighting. It didn't last long, only a few minutes. I wound up blowing out the highlights, but was able to tweak the exposure a bit and bring the red color back. While it seemed a little brighter out, I had to jump to ISO 1600 to get this. Here is where the 7D or the 5D Mk2 would have come in handy.
The utility trailer full of branches is going to the dump first thing in the morning. I have a one hour window where we are around for a weekend AND the dump is open. Those were green leaves when I cut them 4 weeks ago.
