Day 340 - Kicking Back

I kind of thought I would kick back, watch the game, and do a little work on the MBP. I did kick back, I had the MBP on my lap, but never opened it until now.
One hell of a game, 45 - 3 Pats. Pats are back atop the Division now. Still a lot of football left this season.

Day 339 - Xmas Lights

I can't believe it is this time of year already. We had to get the tree this weekend as I will be out of action for the rest of the weekends before Xmas. These lights are actually on a wreathe in a different room, we haven't hung them on the tree quite yet. We are taking bets on KC knocking the tree over though. Somehow she's remained out of it, though this is due to the kids chasing her away from it.

Kala had to work pretty hard to open this present from her Grandmother. My Mom sent my son some $$ in a card for his birthday last weekend and the card was opened in the mail system (money lost). No one (not even Kala) was going to get into this present !!

Day 335 - Shuttle

The Tahoe is in the shop again so I had to take my son to school on the bike this morning. We have this big storm in the region today, there was a nice 'dry' window this morning. He loves to ride anyway, so he was quite happy. We are parked in front of the school, I broke out the LX5 before we got off the bike. That case in the back that is strapped to my Givi E52L is his Saxaphone. There's not much I haven't hauled with the V-Strom!!

I was camped out in the bathroom waiting for my wife to finish her shower. When her hair is wet, she makes for a great subject.

Day 333 - WTF

For the price I paid for this fricken solar shade, I should have received a DVD, a Hat, and a big Foam Finger. Instead, I received a migrane trying to figure out how to pair the remote to the shade. Turns out if you follow the instructions ver batum, you won't get far. I had to hold my left foot up, bark like a dog, and whistle for over an hour to get this to work. Their Tech Support had already left by the time I located the phone number. There was no help online either.
If anyone decides to get one of the Velux Remote units, I caution you to have someone else set the things up.
