The lighthouse is almost invisible in the fog. Notice the huge rocks used to stabilize the inlet. Every year the Army Corps of Engineers has to dredge the sand that washes in during the winter storms.


The Crow's Nest has high glass walls for outside seating. Along with portable heaters this makes sitting outside quite comfortable even in cool weather.
