Squirrel Parts


After several days of hearing cries in our backyard we realized that they came from abandoned baby squirrels. We rescued them (Heidi climbed up in the tree) and nursed them back to health. They transferred back into the wild without problems...

One of them built a nest in our walnut tree, lives there and is quite tame with us.

Great story and looks like you had some furry friends who did well on their own after being weaned. I have heard squirrels make good pets...very smart. Wonderful gallery!!!

Those little guys did not look like they were camera shy at all. Fun stuff and some nice detail shots.
