In April 2009, I was asked to go up to Darwin, in Australia's Northern Territory on a secondment to the Northern Territory Government's Department of Planning and Infrastructure.

As I had never been there before, I decided to drive up. Approximately 3,500km in 4 days! It also gave me the opportunity to travel to Cloncurry and Mount Isa by land. Previously, I had only flown to Mt Isa and then driven to Cloncurry.
