This gallery depicts my own Greyhounds.

as well as the foster Greyhounds who have come and stayed a while. My Greyhounds were adopted through GAP in Victoria, Australia. In my photos I've tried to capture the very essence of what makes a Greyhound. They are true athletes, and I attempt to show their beauty, speed, and power as they run, enjoying the freedom of our rural property and dam. There is also a wonderful gentleness, acceptance, elegance, dignity and calmness within each dog, resulting from thousands of generations of breeding. They are truly a Royal and remarkable breed. I hope I convey those qualities in my photos.

What lucky dogs they are to have you and a wonderful property where they can run like they are made to do. I have a grey, Frankie, and the only time he gets to run is when I take him to the slipping track . I wish I could take him somewhere else. Really great photos!!!!!!!!!

I once worked in a greyhound kennels for 3 years, we had 180 dogs, and killed and replaced about 50 - 60 each year. It was heartbreaking for the staff having to collect 4 to 6 dogs for their last 25 yards journey, all waggy tails and big smiles because they thought they were going walkies. Champions, winners and has beens, they all ended up at the vets, then in a sack, the track managers were heartless. So thank you from an ex-kennelboy.

Well, Bea, I thought I would have seen something to critisize ;o)but I had no such luck;o). The photos are just magnificent, the dogs just greyt, even Lucy's face looks so satisfied. I got to the wrong site for "letting someone have it" but I got some of the "steam" out ;o)looking at the running greys. As you see I'm back and still nothing ....;o( Well, well, I can take it ;o).
